Flora London Marathon 2009!
It's on Sunday April 26th 2009 and starts at 09:45 (although it'll probably take twenty minutes to actually get over the start line)
Hello everyone,
Thanks for stopping by my fund raising page for African Revival (www.africanrevival.org) and now you're here I should also thank you for any sponsorship you can afford.
The goal of African Revival (AR) is to make a positive and sustainable difference to the lives of people in marginalised rural districts of Southern and Eastern Africa.
AR projects focus on improving primary education and basic healthcare as well as helping entrepreneurs to start up small businesses giving them the opportunity to lift themselves out of poverty. The hope is that eventually these communities won't have to depend on aid but in order to do this AR need to generate funding for these projects. Fortunately AR are in a position where they can cover all their operating costs through sponsorship which means that 100% of your donated money is used to fund support projects.
On top of that, if you’re a UK taxpayer, donating through this site ensures 25% in Gift Aid and an additional 3% supplement are added to your donation.
So please spare what you can (I'm not planning on doing this again
