100 Steps a day for Domestic Abuse · 17 April 2020

Our vision is for a world free from the impact of trauma. We provide therapy and training to support families and individuals to break the cycle of abuse.

Story

I am creating the 100 Steps A Day for Domestic Abuse Challenge to help raise money and awareness for victims of Domestic Abuse and Violence during Lockdown!

Since Lockdown began 3 weeks ago the UK’s biggest Charity for Domestic Abuse Refuge reported a 700% increase in calls and now 16 deaths associated with Domestic Abuse have been reported in the last 3 weeks alone!

I am looking to raise a minimum of £1000 to help local charity SAFE provide more telephone and online support to those affected by domestic violence!

Please help get involved in the 100 Steps a Day for Domestic Violence:

✅ Simply pledge to complete 100 steps a day (on a set off stairs) for the remainder of the lockdown period.

✅ Donate £10 to SAFE as your entry fee

✅ Post a picture or video everyday of your 100 steps and then nominate 1 person each day to complete and donate to the challenge

✅ You can complete your 100 steps in one go or spread them out over the day and even get the whole family involved

✅ When you post on social media don’t forget to tag:

@leanwithleanne @wearesafe_ and #100stepsfordomesticabuse #youarenotalone

❤️ Each step you complete is us being one step closer to helping someone get the support they need!
