London Marathon 2017 · 23 April 2017 ·
On Monday 30th January I found out I was in for a charity spot in the London Marathon. With only 12 weeks to race day my first concern was that I was obliged to raise £2.5K... then I went for my first run and my concerns shifted! 26.2 miles is a LONG old way! That being said, leave that to me. What I need from you is donations. Anything you can do will help!
The charity is The Gents Night Out (GNO), it's a charity that supports such a vast number of great and worthy causes it is impossible to name them all but here are a few organisations they fund; Solihull Children’s Special Needs Association, Golf For The Disabled, Troop Aid, Crohn's Colitis UK Cruse Bereavement, and Chernobyl Children’s Project. All money raised by The GNO goes directly to meaningful causes with no overheads or administrative costs. For more in depth info on the charity and their work please visit http://thegentlemensnightout.co.uk/
I hope now you can all see why I signed up to this and it helps you to loosen up the purse strings! The target is massive, but please do your bit to help. I know I will be!
