Story
On August the 8th I will be completing the Olympic London Triathlon in support of the charity Centrepoint.
Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity that works to build a positive future for homeless young people between 16 -25 years. Centrepoint offers much more than a bed, providing support with mental and physical health and well-being, a pathway back into education, training or employment, and an array of opportunities to engage and inspire young people. As a result of this model, 88% of young people move on positively from Centrepoint. The charity supports over 14,000 young people each year. Due to Covid-19 50% of people in the UK who’re unemployed are under the age of 25.
I aim to raise £1,000 for Centrepoint by swimming 1500m, cycling 40k and running 10k all in one go. I’d be very thankful to anyone who’s able to donate.
