Challenge Child Cancer Run · 1 September 2020 to 31 December 2020 ·

Run 21 miles in 21 days and raise funds to help #ChallengeChildCancer.

Story

This challenge popped up in my emails today and strangely there are also exactly 21 days until I turn 40. Between this and the fact September is Childhood Cancer awareness month is seemed meant to be.

As you will know, our daughter, Indigo, finished her treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia earlier this year. I still can not put into words the horror of going through this as a family and we are acutely aware that many other families are in this situation without even the hope of a happy ending. This is largely due to the incredible lack of funding into childhood cancers.

CCLG are a fabulous charity who focus their research soley on cancers affecting children and young people, so... if you were thinking, "Christ, Dom must be getting on a bit now, we should do something to mark this great passing of time", please do think about chucking some money in the pot instead of buying me the anti wrinkle cream.

Thank you!

Please help me to Challenge Child Cancer by running 21 miles in 21 days!
