I have cut my hair really short and donated it to The Little Princess Trust who provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24 that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. They receive no formal funding. 

I know that not everyone will want to donate their hair so I'm asking people to think about the amount of money they would pay for a haircut and donate that instead (although any amount is gratefully received).

Haircuts are a luxury that these children will not have.
