Fundraising for Tree of Hope

Donevan Needham was diagnosed with Plagiocephaly (flat head) at 3 months old. Although there is treatment for this, which is to wear a specially made and fitted helmet which over time will help to reshape and mould the skull. This treatment can cost between £2000-£2500 which is not covered on the NHS. Today we found out Donevan does need a helmet and thats the only way his head will get corrected. The charity we are working with is Tree of Hope who help families to raise money to benefit their sick or disabled child who have an illness or medical condition not covered by the NHS.
7.5% of all donations to Tree of Hope in relation to this appeal will be allocated to the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope to cover our core operating costs.
If we raise insufficient funds, or surplus funds, then the funds will be used, if appropriate, to fund support for our child’s needs in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objects. If in those circumstances we are unable to use all or part of the funds for the benefit of our child in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objects, then any funds that cannot be used will be transferred to be used for the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope.
