Duchenne UK funds life-changing research, supports patients and funds programmes to advance progress to get treatments faster. Each year one in 5000 children worldwide are affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Two families learn each week their child has DMD and recently my daughter and son-in-law had this heartbreaking news said to them. 

I am walking for my Grandson Artie, who will one day, in the not distant enough future, begin to lose the use of his muscles. He is a gorgeous happy boy, who brings so much happiness to all of our lives.
