Most of us have been affected by cancer in one way or another. Personally, I lost my Dad to lung cancer on the 13th March 2013.

I chose Macmillan to raise money for because of the invaluable support their nurses provided in the last few days of his life.  From carrying a bed downstairs to make him more comfortable in the front room, to checking his medication, even laughing at his jokes (which took some getting used to, believe me!)

A positive thing I took from the situation was to take better care of myself.  So I took up running.  I decided to register for this charity run a few months ago & have worked hard to be able to run 10km. I am very much looking forward to the run.

Please help me reach my goal of £100 for this very worthwhile cause.
