This year we have decided to raise money and awareness of diabetes, and fundraise for Diabetes UK.

Diabetes is such a complex condition, and it is estimated to affect 1 out of every 11 adults in the world. Not only affecting adults but also babies and children.

Diabetes is responsible for secondary complications such as poor vision, foot ulcers and long term effects to the cardiac and renal systems. But there is hope, as evidence has shown that with support from healthcare professionals, forums, and the developing of research, people living with diabetes can live long, happy and normal lives.

A lot of the condition is yet to be discovered and this is where vital fundraising from Diabetes UK is so important.

No-one living with diabetes gets a day off, its always with them from the minute they get up in the morning until they go to bed at night.  Lets raise awareness of diabetes.....together.
