Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. 

Those among you who know me well will perhaps know a little (or a lot!) of how it is I took up running, some 5 years ago. Of course, the physical and emotional benefits of exercise are well documented, and it is fair to say that on a personal level, running has, beyond doubt, gotten me through the very worst of times.

Following numerous unsuccessful attempts I have, very fortunately, gained a ballot entry place into the 2020 London Marathon!  Running the London Marathon has been top of my bucket list for many years... I am beyond excited and feel incredibly privileged to be given such an amazing opportunity.

I have chosen to join #TeamRefuge2020 with the aim of raising vital funds so Refuge can continue to provide life changing support to women and children.

One woman in four will experience domestic violence at some point in her lifetime and two women are killed each week in England and Wales by a current or former partner. 

Refuge supports around 6,000 women and children on any given day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.
