Wheezy Riders cycle to Brighton · 26 June 2010

Simon On The Streets provides emotional and practical support for people with complex needs who cannot or will not access other services. Within that group it focuses on people who are homeless and rootless, especially those with issues related to rough sleeping.

Story

Quite a Long way down with the Pulse Wheezy Riders!!

On Saturday 26th June 2010, the wheezy riders take on their biggest and most gruelling challenge to date, the epic journey from London to Brighton by push bike in aid of the Company Charity, Simon on the Streets.

With charity in mind, tubes of deep heat and the promise of a decent pub with padded seats awaiting us, can the two old bikes survive the 60 mile run? With your sponsorship, it will certainly help - please give generously.

Simon On the Streets is a registered charity that focuses on homeless people with a history of rough sleeping in Leeds and Huddersfield.  They offer street based services to people with complex support needs who are not getting a service elsewhere.  Through their team of support workers and dedicated volunteers they aim to offer the necessary support to encourage people to access the services they desperately need to begin to make some positive changes in their lives.  For more information, please log onto their website - www.simononthestreets.co.uk
