Story
Mr Captain (Peter Hart), myself and Matt Harris (and hopefully more people!) are undertaking the 60-mile ride from Manchester to Blackpool on the 4th of July as part of our captains' fundraising efforts. Please would you support our endeavour?
Sadly dementia is on the increase across the UK and we all probably know someone who is going through this right now. It's a cruel disease that slowly takes a person's personality, their character and everything that made them the individual they are, until eventually it will take their life.
It is now one of the leading causes of death across the UK and touches not only the person affected, but their family and friends too. This journey can be made easier with support from charities such as the Alzheimer's Society. The Alzheimer's Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever and until a cure is found, they aim to create a society where those affected are supported and accepted, and are able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
If we can raise some money for the Alzheimer's Society - however small the amount - we'll help those people, their family and friends who are living with dementia now and in the future.
Thank you
Peter and Donna
