Leicester Animal Aid Firewalk · 6 October 2016 ·

2016 marks the Diamond Jubilee of Leicester Animal Aid and to celebrate we would love to invite our supporters to come up with 60 ways to raise £60. This can be as weird and wacky as you make it!

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As someone who has experience with rescue dogs, I cannot give enough praise for the work that charities like Leicester Animal Aid does. Animals that have not had the best start in life are given a second chance. Those that are injured or sick, receive veterinary care and are sent to new homes with a new lease of life. Rescue pets also change lives.

Food and veterinary care does not come cheap. As a charitable organisation, every penny really does count. This is why I am taking part in a Firewalk to raise vital funds.

I will be taking part in this dangerous stunt in front of members of the public at Stanton Lakes on Thursday 6th October so please feel free to come and cheer me on.

Any donation you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I need to raise a minimum of £150.
