The Memusi Foundation has a mission - it provides hope for the people around the world through access to education. In firm belief that education is the primary way for people to escape poverty in their lifetime, The Foundation work with communities around the to provide sustainable solutions.

Story

Memusi Foundation is an amazing charity supporting schools and communities in Kenya and Tanzania.  Donna and Trevor were lucky enough to visit Memusi school in 2013 and witnessed first hand not only the poverty and hardship faced by these people, but also their kindness, generosity and gratitude for everything the charity provides. David then visited in 2014 as part of a volunteering trip and helped build a house for one of the teachers.  Donna and John will visit Memusi school in October 2015.  Your kind donations will help pay for school buildings, teachers, books, pencils, uniforms, health care...and more to help children in these communities find a way out of poverty.

We have held several fundraising events since we started supporting the charity.  Eat Sleep Bike Repeat is the latest and most challenging as Donna, David and John form part of a 6 man team riding a static bike for 24 hours.  Margaret and Trevor will join us for 1km as we aim to be part of a world record attempt at the same time as raising money for this very worthy cause.

Thank you

Donna, David, John, Margaret and Trevor
