I have decided to participate in the Macmillan Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike in June 2019 in memory of my much loved and missed friend Nicola Duff whom lost her brave fight with secondary bone Cancer just over two years ago. Seeing throughout the work and support Macmillan offers to those suffering and battling cancer everyday in our area, i wanted to give something back myself in gratitude for their unrelenting work. This disease will touch all of our lives at some point in some way, whether it is family, friends, or even ourselves and it is comforting to know that support is there when we are at our most vulnerable.

The hike itself is a great physical challenge of a marathon 26 miles in a day but i can feel privileged to be able to follow the trail of the beautiful Dorset coast from start to finish (be it with or without blister plasters).

I am hoping for some support to raise funds to a minimum of £250.00 for Macmillan for this event.
