Brain tumors don’t discriminate, in the past 3 years more than 12,000 people in the UK have been diagnosed and more will be diagnosed each year. Of those diagnosed only 14% will survive for 10 years or more after diagnosed.
Today I run for Rita.
Rita was an amazing woman, fun loving and kind hearted to everyone she met...everyone’s favourite “Aunt.” She was diagnosed and fought hard every day of her battle with Brain Cancer. Her illness was quick and cruel. Today I run in hopes that less people have to battle like Rita.
