Don't Mind Us 2021 · 13 July 2021

We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

Originally scheduled for 2021, but postponed due to Covid restrictions.

19th July 2022 will mark the 6th anniversary of Patrick (Patsy) Harris sadly passing away, aged 60, after being diagnosed at 54 with early onset Alzheimer's. To commemorate the occasion and celebrate his life, his two sons, Dan and Mark alongside a group of friends are embarking on a challenge across Patsy’s homeland of Ireland, in association with the charity Mind.

From Wednesday 27th to Saturday 30th July two teams will be tackling routes by bike and on foot before meeting and joining forces in Patsy’s home city of Cork, Ireland.

Team Cycle, led by Mark will start their journey in Dublin, crossing West over to Galway, before completing their 500km trek by travelling South all the way down to Cork.

Team Run, led by Dan, start their adventure in Limerick and will attempt to run the 100km journey to Cork.

Two Teams. Thousands of Kilometres. One Cause.
