Story
Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to check out my page!
I'm going to be running the Bolton Marathon on 23rd May 2021 and now that the race is officially cancelled, I'm going to be doing so without any outside support.
While I do enjoy running, 26.6 miles is grueling and there's no doubt that I'll be sweating, panting and maybe shedding a tear on my around.
With that thought of me struggling in mind, I would love if you could spare a little of your hard-earned cash, to go to supporting my chosen charity, Raising Futures Kenya.
They are a small outfit, making a huge difference in numerous communities across Kenya, which I've had the pleasure of seeing first-hand.
I'll be wearing their subtle running vest as I traverse the inclines of Bolton, so keep an eye out for me on 23rd as I'll be visible all the way from Glossop.
Finally, I've included some mandatory photos of me exercising, to cast aside your doubts of my ability to do this.
Thank you!
Chris

Raising Futures Kenya is the charity working together with young people to create opportunities for rewarding futures. Without these opportunities, one in five young people in Kenya face living in poverty; unable to reach their potential. We value the strength and individuality of every young person we encounter. We have worked in Kenya, through close collaborations with Community Based Organisations (CBOs), Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), communities and individuals since 2001 to create real, lasting change at community and individual level.
Our work includes practical trade and business skills training alongside tailored well-being support, which enables young people to overcome past traumas and realise their ambitions.
Together we break the cycle of poverty and inequality. We support young people and their families through a network of staff, graduates, mentors, supporters and volunteers, to realise their potential.
