The Lullaby Trust exists to keep babies safe and to keep grieving families supported. We fund life-saving research, empower families with expert baby safety advice and support grieving families through their darkest days. We won’t give up until no baby dies suddenly or unexpectedly.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Peer1's JustGiving page. For those of you who don't know Peer1, we are an IT Hosting Company with our UK Team based in Southampton. The people who work at Peer1 are very passionate in raising money for various Charities which make the office a great place to work.

This time we have decided to ingegrate our raising money with a difficult challenge - The Three Peaks Challenge. This is climbing the three highest peaks in Great Britain, in under 24 hours. The Charity we have chosen is the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID).

Why FSID? FSID is the UK's leading baby charity that  aims to prevent unexpected deaths in infancy and promotes infant health. There is one very special little boy that has touched Peer1 and inspired us to do everything we can to help save and improve the lives of infants such as Luca.

A beautiful little boy, Luca was sadly taken from his family at the age of 5 months from Cot Death. His death not only affected his family and friends, but has rippled out to the hearts of hundreds and thousands of people around him. Please read his story which will truly inspire you to help support and encourage the charity FSID http://www.lucasstarfund.co.uk/our-story.php.

Baby Luca is missed everyday and loved with every beat of a heart. Raising money will enable FSID to succeed in helping prevent deaths such as Luca's. We will be climbing to keep Luca alive through memory, but every penny raised will help toward saving the lives of infants from Cot Death.
