Story

Hi all! My name is Jake Doran aka Dora[n] The Explorer and I will be cycling the Devon Coast to Coast cycle route in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and any help, be that sponsorship or simply spreading the word, would be greatly appreciated. Please read on for more information about the event and the impact your support can have.

In Devon alone, Macmillan Cancer Support currently fund 69 members of staff made up of Doctors, Nurses and Therapists to help people through their treatment. They also provide patients, carers and families with practical, medical, emotional and financial help. Your support can help fund these vital staff and help patients in need.

The Devon Coast to Coast is roughly a 100 mile cycle route that links Ilfracombe on the north coast to Plymouth on the south coast. It runs through the heart of the Devon and traces former railway lines. I will be cycling the Devon Coast to Coast in one day.

If you would like to keep up to date with my training or see photos/posts related to the ride you can do so over on my blog: http://www.dorantheexplorer.com
