Story

In a moment of madness I have agreed to abseil down the 100 feet of Dorchester Abbey. This is a scary prospect for me but I am always encouraging our children to challenge themselves so I thought I should do the same!

The abseil is raising money for two great causes; Daybreak and Dorchester Abbey.

Daybreak: Daybreak is unique in providing social and therapeutic respite days for people living with dementia, helping couples stay together at home, thus delaying or avoiding residential care. responsibilities.

Dorchester Abbey. The Abbey hosts many events for our school and our school community is grateful for the strong links between the school and the Abbey. It costs £440 a day to maintain this magnificent building open to all. The Abbey is entirely self-funded, and receives no support from the State or the Church to support the buildings or activities.
