In September of this year from the 15th for 4 days myself and 3 work colleagues are holding a sponsored walk aiming to complete 90 miles of the Ayrshire Coastal Path starting at Skelmorlie and finishing at Glenapp Church. Recently one of our team has completed a course to become a Dementia Champion, we are all nurses at the local Galloway Community Hospital. Alzheimers is a disease that we come in to contact with on a daily basis and see first hand the problems this illness brings to the patient, family, friends and carers and therefore we would like to help raise the money for this cause
