Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in memory of Doreen. She and Peter (her husband) felt blessed to have raised 5 children, 9 grand children and 2 great grandchildren. Theirs was a life dedicated to family and Doreen was most comfortable surrounded by children. This manifested itself beyond family when she ran the Beckford/Ashton Playgroup for 25 years, nurturing and guiding many local children who are now parents themselves. The Children's Society was the Charity Doreen supported throughout her life, and it now seems appropriate to set up this page in her memory.
