Action for Children is a charity that we have supported for many years because we believe that every child should grow up safe and happy. It is a charity that works to protect vulnerable children in the UK from neglect and abuse as well as supporting young people who are homeless or those who care for others. Like all charities it has lost out during the pandemic, so we have signed up for run on behalf of Action for Children in this year's Great North Run! Having completed the half marathon in 2019, Dorothy is going for her second half marathon, (if you look closely at the picture you might even spot her!)whilst this will be a first for Sarah.
