Thank you for joining the Just Giving page for the Dorset Knob Eating Competition all in aid of Weldmar Hospicecare.

At Dorset Tea, we are working with the Dorset Knob Festival Committee to bring you the Virtual Dorset Knob Eating Competition.

On Sunday 10th May we will have 70 participants taking part to become the Champion Knob Eater and you can watch the traditional event unfold on our Facebook Live @dorsetteauk.

All we ask in return for the entertainment is a donation to Weldmar Hospicecare.

Weldmar Hospicecare provides specialist end of life care for people living in Dorset. Their compassionate approach supports patients and their families in the community, at home, and in their hospice. All of their care is free.

They have a dedicated team of nurses, doctors, therapists, social workers and counsellors, but only 21% of their funds are provided by the NHS – the rest is raised.

Their aim is to ensure all patients needing end of life care in Dorset have access to excellent services, delivered when they are needed, meeting individual needs of patients and their loved ones.

During these difficult times Weldmar Hospicecare has lost fundraising opportunities and we would like to help in any way possible.
