Story

Hello my name is Gwen.  I'm 9 now  but I am turning 10 in a few days on the same day as the Race for Life in Cardiff. For my birthday,  me and my friends were going to do the Race for Life, but unexpectedly I sprained and chipped my ankle. I didn't know how I was going to do the Race for Life. Then we had an idea. I am going to try on my crutches and then if i get tired I will use my Gran's wheelchair.

I was sooooooooo keen to do the Race for Life because I lost a dear friend, Rosie. She died of cancer when she was 19 and inspired, not just me,  but lots of people as well with all the fundraising she did. I want to make her proud but between you and me, I think it is going to take a while for me to cross that finish line! Fear not I will get there (in my own time). Please support me.
