On the 24th March 2022 I will be flying to the Sahara Desert to take part in the Marathon des Sables, It is indisputably the Toughest Footrace on Earth. Physically, it is six days’ running over 250 kms (156 miles) across endless sand dunes, rocky jebels and white-hot salt plains, with temperatures reaching over 50°C, carrying what i need to survive on my back. Mentally, it is the ultimate challenge – an experience like no other in the world.
