In May of 2021, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It was an awful time, suddenly you feel so alone, it all seems so unfair, why me?

I know it is irrational, but you look out the window of people passing by and you feel jealous of them, why are they ok? and not me. But,you do not know what they may be going through!

Then as each day goes by am amazing support network begins to appear.

Your partner, your children, family, friends, neighbours, work colleagues and the NHS, step in and you start to feel the love and support that was there, you just did not see it.

I had a tough time, but hopefully I am now cancer free. I was fortunate, others are not so fortunate.

As a way of saying thank you for that love and support, I have chosen to raise funds for Young Lives Vs Cancer.

I want to try an support the children and their families going through the the toughest of situations you could ever imagine. 

So, I am  doing the Jurassic Coast Challenge 2023, from 13th of May  to 14th of May 2023.

Fifty kilometres along the Jurassic cost in two days.

 Should have read the small print, it is 50k in a day!
