The Grand Appeal is the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity, transforming the lives of sick children from Bristol, the South West and beyond. Help save the lives of sick children, provide pioneering medical equipment and keep families together by donating or fundraising for The Grand Appeal.

Story

Doug and I aren't runners, in fact we haven't run since cross country in school and then we used to hate it!

However we've now signed ourselves up to running in this year's Bristol Half Marathon for Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal which is currently fundraising for the 'Cots for Tots' Appeal for St Michael's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

St Michael's NICU cares for around 600 babies per year with the most serious, most complex conditions. This can be anything from being born with serious congenital defects requiring life-saving surgery to those born prematurely - anything from 24 weeks gestation.

Sponsorship raised will go towards providing vital life saving equipment for additional cot spaces, along with refurbishing the siblings' play area, breast feeding area and to improve the facilities for the parents who greatly rely on the Unit. Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Your sponsorship will make a great difference!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Royal Hospital For Children Bristol Appeal Limited gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Please sponsor us now.

Thank you very much!
