My name is Doug Harrison and  begining the 29th March 2008 I will be walking from Land's end to John o'Groats .

I am doing the walk in aid of Acorns childrens hospice.

The distance is approximatley 1,115 miles and will take 70 days to complete.

The route will take me along 5 of Britain's long distance paths, The West Coast path, Offa's dyke, The Pennine Way, West Highland way and The Great Glen Way.
