Charles Bulmer is raising money for Microtia UK
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be taking part in the Outlaw Ironman distance triathlon on the 29th of July. This consists of a back to back challenge of swimming 2.4 miles then cycling 112 miles before running the full 26.2 miles marathon distance.
The reason for me taking on this challenge is to raise funds for a charity close to our heart. In November 2013 our adorable, kind hearted little boy Mackinley was born just under 7 weeks early. It was then discovered Mackinley had been born with right sided Microtia and Goldenhar Syndrome. He has overcome some challenges so far including the 3 holes in his heart closing by themselves without surgery. We understand there is a journey ahead of us with further surgeries, one being as early as 2019 but the Microtia UK charity have been a great support and we have met some lovely people along the way. I feel honored to help raise money for this charity and show our support to them like they have for my family.
