The Wren Project's Yorkshire Three Peak Challenge · 1 July 2023 ·

A team of 20 fabulous supporters are scaling the Yorkshire Three Peaks as part of the Wren Project's summer fundraising campaign. Help us raise £25,000 to support people with autoimmune diseases suffering from loneliness, distress and isolation.

Story

The Wren Project offers free, ongoing, one to one, listening support to people with autoimmune disease in the UK. They respond to the emotional challenges caused by a diagnosis of autoimmune disease. In the UK, 6%, or 4 million people, are known to live with at least one autoimmune condition. There are over 80 identified autoimmune diseases, with incidence rising by 3 - 9% each year. This summer the Wren Project is aiming to raise £25,000 to support people with autoimmune diseases suffering from loneliness, distress and isolation. The Wren Project's Summer Fundraiser is running until September and has loads of brilliant activities and opportunities to get involved. If you want to know more about any events you could take part in, like the Hackney Half Marathon please email us as contact@wrenproject.org or to set up your own fundraiser page please find us on JustGiving and become a fundraiser.
