Hi I have a very close person in my life my amazing partner, who suffers from Crohn's which has no cure and she has one of the most complicated if not the most complicated case in the UK and has had no luck with any of the current treatments being used for Crohn's, so she is lucky that we have some of the best specialist in the UK working out of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as her case is so complicated she has had the chance to be the first person to trial new treatments, thanks to the specialist we have in our local Hospital although the treatment did not agree with her, the results have helped the specialist understand this a bit more and has shown signs of helping treat this disease but we need to do more, as currently she now has ran out of options and we need help raising funds so that we can find a cure and new treatment options. So learning about the charity ran by her doctors it has inspired me to try and raise funds to assist there efforts in finding new treatments and hopeful a cure. So I am trying to raise funds for North East Crohn's and Colitis Trust, which is ran out of the hospital in Aberdeen, this charity is ran by the doctors and staff in their spare time and purely voluntary and their goal is to research/find a cure and treatments to treat people who suffer from Crohn's and colitis, which is a severely under funded lacking funds for research, training and equipment and there is very little awareness of these illnesses. So please help me raise funds and help work together to find a cure and raise awareness for Crohn's and colitis. Thanks Douglas
