As part of a group of around 25 people, my wife Claire and I are taking on a tough challenge to complete this gruelling trek within 12 hours. It's 24 miles long and includes 3 of Yorkshire's highest peaks, so we are not expecting an easy time of things...

Most importantly, however, is that we are raising funds for the Clarify Foundation. Some of you will be aware of this charity which we set up several years ago and which has now completed major building and refurbishment works in 7 rural primary schools in Uganda. We've built and renovated rooms, added solar panels, toilet blocks and done all manner of other things to improve the lives of the pupils and teachers, and make the schools safer, more hygienic, and more fit for learning. We are helping them become centres for these small and very poor communities.

The administration of the charity is paid for by Clarify Solution Selling Limited, and we have established a legitimate method to get funds into the country and used without dilution. This means that we can say with absolute certainty that every pound donated goes DIRECTLY to the projects...
