Story

Thank you for taking the time to read my JustGiving page.

In a few months time I am getting married (Queue the bells!). But rather than celebrating simply through drunken merriment, I have decided to subject some of my closest family and friends to the gruelling challenge of climbing the highest peak in England (Scafell pike), Scotland (Ben nevis) and Wales (Snowden); all within 24 hours (Sorry guys). We will climb over 10,000 feet, walk over 22 miles and cover around 450 miles travelling between each mountain.

During the challenge, it would raise our spirits knowing that, as well as blisters and sleep deprivation, we had also gained vital support for our chosen charity. Mellor Country House provide respite breaks for children, families and individuals, many of whom come from nearby urban areas such as Manchester and would not otherwise be able to have a break at all. By providing a safe, relaxing and uplifting atmosphere, the home allows people to take time out from their daily hardships and can quite literally be a life saver.

So rather than treating us to a pint (although you can do both ;-) ), we would be thrilled if you could dig deep and spare a bit of cash to help support the work of this amazing local charity.
