Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm trying to raise the money to get some very special people to the ISAAC Congress in October. They are already serving sacrificially so won't get to the Congress unless you and I help them. Going to the Congress will be a major encouragement as well as giving them the training they need to become even more effective in their work/ministry. I actually did the ride on 5-6 July!!!!!!!

It was an interesting experience and I was much encouraged by those who had sponsored me up to that point. There was some relief from the heatwave we had experienced for the 10 days before and I convinced myself that cycling in driving rain instead for six hours was preferable! The last two hours of the first day, having already cycled 40 miles, was the toughest time of all and I finished at 4.00 pm on the Thursday, with some relief as well as a sense of achievement.

You are of course very welcome to still help more people get to the congress and donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: International Substance Abuse and Addiction Coalition (ISAAC) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
