Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am cycling Ride London 100 to raise money for Mencap, a charity that is very important to me as my Grandma Barbara supported them for as long as I can remember. She worked at a school for children with learning difficulties which was a big influence on her and she raised a lot of money over the years. She would always be on the look out to collect things to be sold at jumble sales or bazaars, as well as knitting/crocheting various creations all year round!

Grandma sadly died 3 years ago. I know she would wholeheartedly support me doing this little bike ride for the cause that was so important to her, and I am glad I can do something in her memory. Cycling is a sport I have really got into over the last couple of years and I wanted a new challenge this year, so combining these two interests seemed like a good idea! Thank you very much for your support and any donations are gratefully received - thank you!
