Dr Andrew's 2-6 Cross Trainer Challenge · 30 April 2020

At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

Thank you for logging on!

If you know me, you know that physical exercise has never been one of my passions. Now in my mid-50s, I recently realised that excuses had to stop and I have been trying to get fit - my personal trainer, Sam, has learned some interesting vocabulary from me over the last couple of years, but has refused to give up on me.

I am sincerely humbled by a young man in our RGS family who is undergoing treatment and being so brave. It was wonderful to hear that he was giggling at how frightened I am about trying to complete this challenge to raise money for his chosen charity, CLIC Sargent.  I am determined, but there are also lots of expletives to describe my genuine fear! Seriously, please help me to support this amazing charity and I will try to not only complete the challenge, but not to swear too much along the way and, IF I succeed, not to celebrate with too much chocolate.

Here goes.....!
