Dragon Boat Racing 2016 · 10 September 2016

We fund grassroots projects in Cambodia to improve lives of young adults.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our Dragon Boat Fundraising page.

Sadly, young adults continue to be exploited and abused in the tourist town of Siem Reap and in many cases by people they trust.

HOPE supports grassroot projects which allows vulnerable young adults to make positive choices about their own futures, whereby they can harness opportunities through play and education.

Dragon boat racing has long traditions in Cambodia with people from all over the country celebrating the Cambodian Water Festival (Bon Om Tuk), we see this as a fun way to combine fundraising and celebrating  Cambodian culture.

On behalf of all the young adults and local grass-roots projects supported by HOPE, many big, warm thanks  to all the paddlers, bakers, jam makers, fundraisers and those who have donated to the tombola. Awkun ch'ran thom thom.
