Story
Craig was a loving, kind and generous father, grandfather and friend. He was caring and thoughtful and a much valued member of his community. Sadly, Craig was given a terminal diagnosis of malignant melanoma in January. It was such shock for everybody, especially his children who'd lost their wonderful mother Elaine, and wife to Craig, to the same disease. He was so fit and well up until the point of diagnosis, he then died at home peacefully nine weeks later. Both Elaine and Craig are sorely missed.
Around 37 people in the UK are told they have malignant melanoma (the most serious form of skin cancer) every day. Over the last decade malignant melanoma incidence rates have increased by around a half (49%) in the UK. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to treat skin cancer.
