Dreamflight's aim is to take children with a serious illness or disability to Orlando for the holiday of a lifetime visiting the theme parks. To bring some fun and joy to these children whose illnesses cause pain, distress and disruption to their lives.

Story

Later this month, we are aiming to cycle 301 miles in memory of Will, Sam and Kris' brother, Matt's nephew, from his home in Ruabon to his favourite place in the world; his Grandparents' house in Polruan, Cornwall.

The reason we want to do this is to raise money for a charity called Dreamflight. They're a great charity who, every year, take on the massive operation of sending 192 seriously ill and disabled children on the trip of a lifetime to Orlando, Florida.

In October 2013, Will was lucky enough to go on this trip. He had an absolutely amazing time and spoke extremely highly of the everybody he met through it.

To make this annual trip possible, Dreamflight have to charter a plane, travel with doctors and other medically-trained professionals as well as a crew of volunteers who escort the children around the theme parks and help with their everyday needs, as well as offering friendship and emotional support.

Obviously the costs involved to make all this possible are very high and Dreamflight relies solely on donations to pay for it all, so it would be fantastic if we can raise enough to help out.

The ride will be from June 22nd to June 26th.

Sam
