Story
We should have been visiting the Magic Kingdom on Oct 12th with Dreamflight and 192 very special children. This is the first time in over 30 years Dreamflight won’t be bringing children with life changing medical conditions to Florida for a week of theme park fun. 2020 was suppose to be the first year that American children joined the UK children on this amazing journey. The goal of the trip is to provide the children a holiday of a lifetime while helping them grow their independence and confidence. We’ve had many children go on to do great things including Paralympic medalist and professional golfers .
Some of our Florida volunteers will be celebrating what should have been Dreamflight day at the Magic Kingdom this year by riding a ride as many times as possible during the day. Our goal is to raise enough money to pay for one child's trip next year. If we make our goal "It's a Small World" will be our ride all day. If we don't make our goal we'll still be riding something all day just something a little less traumatizing than "It's A Small World" like "Space Mountain" or "Seven Dwarfs Mine Train".
Next years trip is scheduled to arrive in Florida on Oct 17, 2021. We'll be looking for volunteers to join us throughout the week please checkout the following websites if you're interested in helping out or know any Pediatric Medical professionals that would be interested in joining us.
