Driving Range 24 Hour Challenge · 15 July 2020

This campaign will lay the foundations for human trials of a pioneering therapy for Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The fatal disease affects the brain and nerves and causes weakness over time. There is currently no cure for the condition.

Story

Sometimes you need a kick up the backside to get off your fat, lazy and do something. Watching Dodi Weir at Murrayfield before the game against the All Blacks gave me that push but like a lot of people I went home and "nearly" did something to help. Pathetic! Watching the Rob Burrow story unfold has been a hard watch but its made us realise how fragile things are and what responsibility we all have to help in whatever way we can. I hope that our "golfathon" will get supported when we do it in July this year. I'm sure 24 hours of blasting balls on the range will require us to get a chiropractor on board but what the hell, lets give it a go. We will be starting at noon on the 15th July and won't stop for 24 hours. We will be doing it at Alwoodley Golf Club in Leeds. Please come and support us if you are in the area. Thank you.
