Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am a Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter Medical School. On Monday 23rd October I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In a few weeks I will be starting Chemotherapy. I have had very long hair for most of my life and the chemo will dramatically change this. To make my treatment as positive as possible and to help others I would be grateful if you could sponsor me to have my hair cut prior to my chemo. My cut hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust to enable a wig to be made for a child with hair loss due to cancer treatment and other illnesses. The money raised will be used to provide a child with a real hair wig; it costs on average between £350 to £500 to provide a child with a wig.
