UP-DATE MARCH 2006
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
I am very pleased to say that the Million Metre Challenge is now complete. There are now 1.2 million metres on the clock and thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have now reached our target of £10k.
We aim to keep this page going until September . The new rowing season begins again in May. I shall continue my rowing, and aim for another million next season.
A huge thank you to all who have offered their support - you are helping to improve the lives of others and this is such a worthy ideal.
With your donation you will be supporting the Paul Strickland Scanner Appeal and a new charity at Northwood Prep. school. The scanner appeal has ambitious plans this year to fund new state of the art technology. The school charity is being set up at the school that I work at in order to support educational projects in needy communities, both at home and abroad. We hope to assist former pupils and teachers at the school as they work with the underprivileged in their gap years or during vacations. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: the school charity and the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Many thanks, in anticipation, for your support.
Kind regards
Trevor Lee
