2010 British 10K London run · 11 July 2010 ·

We fund vital diabetes research to establish the causes; develop improved management and treatment options; and ultimately find a cure, we also aim to ensure that people have access to the right information and support to develop a proactive self-care approach to successful self-management.

Story

We are the 2010 DRWF JOLLY JOGGERS, running the Asics London 10K on Sunday 11th July in support of the Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation.

DRWF is a national registered charity funding vital diabetes research with the ultimate aim of finding a cure for diabetes. Until that time they continue to raise awareness to diabetes, its risks and symptoms and provide ongoing support to help people improve their self-management skills.

Diabetes is a chronic and debilitating condition that has a devastating impact on almost every aspect of life. In ten years, DRWF has committed more than £5.9 million to diabetes research - not bad for a small group - and we want to support them by raising money so that they can continue this good work.

Please show your support and sponsor us in this 10K run (6.2 miles) as we'll be pounding the streets to support DRWF and all those people who benefit from their services.
