“Everynight before I went to bed, we had hot chocolate and a story; at home I just go to bed by myself" What does childhood mean to you? Simple things we take for granted; warmth, food & feeling safe?

Story

In January i decided to stop drinking alcohol for a year, i'm now 11 months in and have raised a good amount for the Children's Hospital and Young Minds Charity.

With just 6 weeks to go, i'd really love to be able to raise another £480, which is all it cost to sponsor a school right on our doorstep to visit Whirlow Hall Farm.

Our Whirlow Wish appeal will be launched in December.

Simple things we take for granted for our children; like warmth, food & feeling safe... for some of Sheffield’s young children, it means something very different, reality can often mean; neglect, poverty, fear or even hunger

Happy memories and positive experiences help us grow into confident and positive adults

Whirlow works with schools in the most deprived areas of Sheffield, providing a fun & nurturing environment where children thrive. Our 480 scheme supports our city’s most needy & vulnerable children, allowing them to stay on the farm & gain respite from their home circumstances
