This charity is close to many of our hearts as we all know someone who has lost their life to cancer, I lost my nan and my mum to cancer so if there is any chance that raising money will help beat cancer then ill give it a go, I've not never done any kind of fund raising that I can remember but when u lose people close to ya, it kinda opens up other parts of yourself, spose in my case the good side of me lol please please sponsor me if u can be much appreciated xx
My New Year’s resolution? I’m giving up alcohol. For January. For Cancer Research UK. I’m becoming a Dryathlete. For those of u that know me I've not gone longer than 3 days since about the age of 11 so u know this is by far the biggest challenge I've ever attempted in my life, but I'm hoping the cause will push me to achieve my goal to raise money for cancer research whilst giving my body a much needed rest from the alcohol, can't believe I'm doing it with my bday next week but I can just celebrate 1st Feb, so please if u can sponsor me what ever u can! All through January I’m not going to touch alcohol. Not a drop. So instnead of buying me a drink, I’d like you to donate. Every pound helps Cancer Research UK bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. IF I happen to slip off the wagon, I’ll chuck in an extra £15 to make up for it. Cheers. The Dryathlete’s Oath I promise that I shall take part in Dryathlon™, respecting and abiding by the rules which govern it, committing myself to a month without alcohol, in the true spirit of do-gooding, for the glory of Dryathletes and the honour of Cancer Research UK.
