The MND Association is a charity focused on improving access to care, research and campaigning for people affected by motor neurone disease.  This year has seen a huge drop in funding as we all try to navigate the pandemic and events have all but come to a halt but people still need help.  So, after an indulgent Christmas, a great group of friends have decided to come together to raise as much money as possible by giving up the demon drink.  All donations will go directly to the MNDA to help to find a cure, 2021 has GOT to be the year.  

As many of you know, my fabulous husband was diagnosed in March 2017.     In nearly 4 years my children and I have watched his decline.                                        In nearly 4 years there has only ever been one medication that can only extend life by a few months, if it works at all.                      In nearly 4 years they have been so close to a cure but there isn’t enough funding.     

 You have a 1 in 300 risk  of getting MND across your lifetime.  It affects up to 5,000 adults  in the UK at any one time. 

Let’s knock this out of the park!
